Meeting Minutes December 26, 2011
The General Membership meeting of the Missaukee Trail Blazers was held Monday, December 26, 2011 at the EMS Building in Lake City MI and called to order at 8:00 PM by President Fred Bartholomew. Vice-President Teresa LaFond, Secretary Glennice Perrigo, Treasurer Lorie Kittle, Trustees Butch Wagner and John Knapp were present. Trustee Dean Sloat was absent. There were seven members present.
A motion was made by Jim Leeuw supported by Roger Freed to approve the minutes of the November 28, 2011 General Membership meeting. Motion passed.
Treasurer Lorie Kittle gave the treasurers’ report showing a balance of $29, 493.84 (restricted $6,500.60 and unrestricted $22,993.24). A motion was made by Roger Freed supported by Jim Leeuw to approve the treasurers’ report as presented. Motion passed.
Brett/DNR finalized the inspection of our trails.
Fred Bartholomew and Jim Leeuw done a lot of clean-up due to vandalism and sign damage on the trails from Lucas Road to US 131. This has been reported to the DNR and to the police. Trail cameras were discussed and Fred will do some checking.
A radio has been purchased for the Trail Coordinator Alex Andrash.
Fred Bartholomew reported that the Club will be receiving a pair of snowmobile to snowmobile radios from a company in New York as a promotional deal. They will be available to any member of the Club.
Treasurer Lori Kittle has applied for grant money.
The 50/50 was won by John Knapp. He donated $26.00 back to the Club.
A motion was made by Tom Machuga supported by Jim Leeuw to adjourn. Motion passed and meeting adjourned at 8:25 PM. The next scheduled meeting is January 23, 2012.
